DESCRIPTION
The LS2000
Optical Multi Channel Analyzer has three components - the PCCD
array camera head, the PC controller card and the control
software.
The camera
head houses a proprietary 2048 pixel linear array that is
temperature controlled to 0 deg C. Each pixel is 15 x 200
microns.
The controller
card fits in an PC ISA 8 bit slot. It is connected to the camera
head with a DB25 control cable and a coaxial video signal cable.
The software
allows control of exposure time, binning, averaging, multiple
timed data images. It displays the source spectrum in wavelength,
channel, temporal, or 3D modes.
