DESCRIPTION
The MX-2 measures oxygen
saturation (S02) and hematocrit concentration during open heart
surgery. Reflected light signals from an arterial and venous
cuvette coupled to an extracorporeal blood circuit are coupled to
the instrument with optical fibers.
